Susie Newman, Educator and Parent
Susie Newman has worked as an educator for the past 25 years as a teacher and curriculum specialist. She is currently chairing the Petrick Educator Awards program and is facilitating curriculum meetings with teachers in the complex. In the Fall of 2010, she will have two boys at Palisades Charter High School--a Freshman and a Junior.

Eileen Savage, Finance and Parent
After working as a financial professional for many years, Eileen Savage began volunteering when her children entered kindergarten at Marquez Charter Elementary.  She has served as the President of Booster Clubs, on Charter Councils, Budget Committees, and most recently on the Board of Trustees for Palisades Charter High.  She has one Pali High alumni at Stanford and a rising Pali High Senior.

Sharon Pregerson, Educational Consultant and College Counselor
Sharon Pregerson runs an Educational Consulting and College Counseling business while serving on numerous philanthropic boards supporting programs for families in transition from homelessness to independent living.

Donna Ashley, Parent
Donna Ashley has served on the PCSF Board for the last five years, while also serving as a volunteer in the Palisades Charter High School College Center.  She has three children who have attended both public and private schools. One is currently at UCLA, another at George Washington University and the third at Palisades Charter High.

Kathleen Hall Goldner, Realtor
Kathleen Hall Goldner has served as co-Chair of the PCSF Board, Chair of the Lori Petrick Educator Awards program, and Grant Writer.  She is a multi-million dollar sales producer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and has one daughter, a proud graduate of the Palisades Charter School complex.

Allison Holdorff Polhill, Attorney and Parent
Allison Polhill is an attorney who has volunteered at her children’s schools, beginning at Palisades Charter Elementary in 2004.  She has served on charter renewal committees, co-chaired Booster Clubs and was a member of both Pali Elementary and Revere Middle School Charter Councils.

Gina Kornfeind, Social Worker and Child Development Specialist
Gina Kornfeind has a double masters in early childhood special education and social work.  She is a Child Development Specialist at Early Childhood Prevention Center in Santa Monica and works with high risk toddlers and their parents.  She has also lead bereavement groups for grieving teenagers from Pali High and other local high schools.  Gina has four daughters ages 6-17, two of whom currently attend Palisades Charter High School.

Bella McGowan, School Psychologist
Recipient of the 2009 Petrick Excellence in Education Award, Bella McGowan is currently the School Psychologist at Palisades Charter High School and has enjoyed her tenure there for the past fourteen years.  She is a member of the Board of Directors at Teen Line, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a national crisis intervention hotline for adolescents.  She is dedicated to promoting the healthy well being of all of the students and their families in the Palisades Complex and has recently joined the Board of the Palisades Foundation.

Sheryl Rosenbaum, Environmental Engineer and Parent
In addition to her career in renewable energy research, Sheryl Rosenbaum has volunteered at both Marquez Charter Elementary and Paul Revere Charter Middle School.  At Marquez, she acted as head room parent and treasurer of the parent association, Friends of Marquez.  At both schools, she served as a grant writer.  She is a parent of two students at Palisades Charter High School.  As a board member at the Charter Schools Foundation, Ms. Rosenbaum hopes to contribute with grant writing and improving collaboration among the Palisades Charter Schools.
